Is Squarespace's built-in AI design tool good enough on its own?
It is a decent first layout. Where it stops short is where every AI first draft does — generic copy, default imagery, and a page order that has never been tested against what your particular customers need to see first.
Can a Squarespace site be made not to look like a Squarespace site?
Further than most people expect. Type, spacing, imagery and colour do most of that work. What stays fixed is the underlying section behaviour, which is the trade you accept for the platform being this quick to work in.
Does Squarespace handle appointments properly?
Its scheduling tool is solid once configured, and the gap is almost always that it was left on defaults. Buffers, lead times, which services can be booked back to back, and what the confirmation email actually says are all decisions somebody has to make.
What does the Squarespace plan cover that I would otherwise buy separately?

Is Squarespace enough for a small product range?
