What people ask about Wix.
Wix used to be bad for SEO. Is that still true?
No. The platform's SEO tooling has improved a great deal and covers what most small businesses need. What we actually find on Wix sites is missing metadata and unoptimised images left from a fast DIY setup — a content problem wearing a platform problem's clothes.
Can you work inside my existing Wix account?
Yes, and it is usually the right call. You keep ownership and billing, nothing has to be migrated, and we work in the site you already have rather than rebuilding it elsewhere and handing you a transfer to manage.
How is this different from Wix's own design service?
Theirs is a fixed-scope, template-led setup that ends at handover. This is design around your specific business, and it carries on month to month as prices, services and seasons change instead of finishing the week the site goes live.
Will I have to move off Wix eventually?
Most small businesses never need to. The point it starts to bite is custom interaction or logic the editor does not expose — and if you reach it we will tell you, rather than quietly working around a limit that has stopped being worth it.
Can Wix Bookings be set up to match how we actually take jobs?
Usually, and it is one of the more common fixes we make. Default booking settings rarely match how a real business quotes — travel time, buffers, deposits, which services can share a slot — and those are configuration decisions rather than platform limits.
