Under Pressure
Under Pressure had 17 five-star reviews on Google and 19 on Facebook, regular rounds across 17+ areas around Woking, and no website at all — every enquiry arrived by phone or through a Google listing. We built a single-page, custom-coded site: every service, the full coverage area and a custom quote form in one scroll, with the locations written into the copy rather than left to a footer line.

A real local reputation, and nowhere to point it.
Thirty-six five-star reviews across Google and Facebook, earned entirely on word of mouth and a Google listing.
Rounds running across seventeen-plus areas around Woking, with no page naming a single one of them.
Every enquiry going through a phone call, because there was no way to get a quote without ringing first.
One page, on purpose — not a page count cut down.
A local cleaning business with three core services does not need five pages competing for the same searches. It needs one that covers window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter clearing properly. So the whole site is one scroll — services, results, process, areas and FAQ — navigated by anchor links rather than a menu of separate pages, with each section carrying its own weight instead of padding out a route.

The location goes in the copy, not the footer.
Building it as a custom-coded website rather than on a template or a no-code builder is what made the locations part of the writing instead of an afterthought. Woking, Guildford and the villages actually covered — Chobham, Pyrford, Byfleet, Send and a dozen more — appear in the hero, the areas section and the FAQ, which is where someone searching one of those names expects to land. A builder would have put them in a service-area line and stopped there.

Everything needed to quote, and nothing else.
Service picked from five options — window cleaning, fascia and soffit, conservatory, pressure washing, gutter cleaning — selected rather than typed.
One-off or regular, chosen in a single tap, because the two are quoted differently.
Name, email and phone, and the address with postcode up front so a price does not wait on a callback.
A free-text box for anything else, and nothing that exists only because it might occasionally be useful.
The numbers were already there.
With no previous site to measure against, the page leads with what is real: the review counts and the areas covered, a four-step process from first message to finished job, and before-and-after captures of the actual work — a block-paved path, a conservatory roof. Underneath sits a peace-of-mind grid answering what a stranger in your driveway gets asked anyway: fully insured, pure water system, no ladders, mess taken away, reminders before every visit, fixed price.

One page, done properly, beats five thin ones.
