Can Emergent build a mobile app, not just a website?
Yes — it produces real React Native code for iOS and Android from the same project as the web version. Getting that into the App Store and Play Store is still manual work, and that last mile is usually where we come in.
Do I actually own the code, or is it locked to the platform?
You own it. Projects export with full code access and can be hosted wherever you like, which is the real reason to pick it over the alternatives — and the reason continuing an existing project is a genuine continuation rather than a rebuild in disguise.
What does app store submission actually involve?
Developer accounts, signing certificates, store listings, screenshots at the right sizes, a privacy declaration, and a review that can come back asking for changes. None of it is difficult; all of it is fiddly, and it is the step that surprises people.
How does Emergent's own billing work alongside yours?
Theirs is credit-based and billed by them directly; ours covers the design and development work and nothing else. Two separate bills from two separate companies, and we will walk through what your project is likely to consume before you commit.
Which of these builders should I actually be using?
