Electrician websites — UK

Electrician websites in the UK, with no invoice before it exists

A pay monthly website for UK electricians and small electrical firms. See it finished on a real domain before anything is due.

The problem

Qualified, insured, and second on the search results

A homeowner with a consumer unit that keeps tripping rings the first two numbers they find and books whoever picks up. Your registration and your twenty years do not enter into it at that stage, because nobody has read them yet. Being findable comes first; being the best electrician in the town comes second.

A web design subscription for electricians, not a one-off build

One monthly price covers the site, the domain, the hosting, ongoing SEO and monthly updates. There is no project fee at the start and no separate quote when a rate changes or a service gets added. The site keeps being worked on for as long as you subscribe, which is the opposite of a build that is handed over and starts ageing the same week.

Affordable web design with nothing to pay upfront

We build the site and show it to you live before you owe anything. It is the same logic you apply to a rewire: nobody sensible commits to a figure before the actual thing has been looked at. You judge a finished site on a real domain, then decide whether it is worth a monthly price.

Built for the call that cannot wait

A dead ring main, no power upstairs, an RCD that will not reset — most domestic electrical work arrives urgently and gets decided in under two minutes on a phone. The number, the coverage area and the out-of-hours position sit above everything else on a mobile screen, because a page that makes someone scroll during an emergency has already lost the job.

Registration and insurance, where a customer looks

Scheme membership is what separates you from the man with a van, and on most electricians' sites it is a logo in the footer. Here it goes in the header and onto every service page, because a homeowner about to let a stranger near their fuse board is reading for exactly that before they read anything else.

Landlord inspections are a deadline, not a favour

Rented homes in England need an electrical safety inspection at least every five years, and Scotland and Wales run their own versions of the same rule. That turns a landlord into a customer with a date and a penalty behind them — high intent, low patience, and searching for a specific thing. Most electricians' sites never use the letters EICR anywhere, so the few that do take the enquiry.

Questions

Before you ask.

Half our calls are emergencies at night. Can the site set out what out-of-hours costs?

Yes, and it should. An out-of-hours rate published beside the daytime one stops the argument on the doorstep at 11pm, and it filters the callers who were never going to pay it. Customers rarely object to a night rate they read before they dialled.

Landlords need EICRs on a five-year cycle. Can the site chase that work?

That is one of the strongest pages you can have. An EICR page states what the inspection covers, what a landlord's obligation actually is and what it costs, so the search that starts with a legal deadline lands on you rather than on a directory listing.

Every job we finish needs a certificate. Can the site handle sending those?

Issuing certificates stays in whatever software you already use — we do not replace your certification tool. What the site does is set the expectation: which certificate a job comes with, how soon it arrives and that it is included, which is a question customers ask on the phone and rarely get answered clearly.

EV charger installs are new for us. Can the site push a service we've only just added?

A new service gets its own page and goes into the monthly updates the same week you decide to sell it. That is the part a one-off build cannot do — a site delivered and handed over stays frozen on the services you offered the month it launched.

We quote by email and half of them go cold. Can the site do anything about that?

It can narrow what reaches the quote stage. When the site states rates, coverage and the kind of work you take, the enquiries arriving are already the ones that fit — you spend the quoting time on jobs with a real chance rather than on everyone who filled a form.
