Roofing websites — UK

Roofing websites in the UK, paid monthly, never upfront

A pay monthly website for UK roofing firms and flat-roof specialists. Built and live before a penny is due.

The problem

Nobody thinks about a roof until it is already a problem

Roofing gets bought in one of two states: a storm took tiles off overnight, or a survey flagged the roof and a decision is suddenly due. Both start with a search and both end with whoever showed real finished jobs, a clear area covered and a way to get someone out this week. Neither is won by a stock photograph of a roof.

A roofing website subscription rather than a one-off invoice

Site, domain, hosting, ongoing SEO and monthly updates on one monthly price, with no project fee at the outset. Every job you finish is a photo the site should be carrying within the month — that only happens if somebody is still maintaining it, which a handed-over build has nobody to do.

Affordable web design with no cost before you have seen it

The site is built and shown to you live first. You are judging finished work on a real domain, not a proposal, which is exactly the standard you would want a customer to apply to a roof — look at the job before agreeing the price.

Your actual roofs, never stock photography

Every image on the site is a real job of yours. A homeowner comparing three roofers can spot a stock photo instantly, and it reads as a firm with nothing of its own to show. Photographs of work you finished in streets the visitor recognises do more than any wording on the page.

Insurance and storm work, explained before they ring

A homeowner mid-claim does not know what the insurer will ask for, what you provide, or where the two meet. A page that sets out the process plainly gets read at the point of highest anxiety, and the roofer who explained it is usually the one who gets called.

Found after a storm

One named storm rewrites every roofer's diary

A storm crosses the country overnight and by morning every roofing firm in the region is fielding the same calls about slipped tiles and lifted ridges. It is the most predictable demand spike in the trade and the least prepared for. The site that ranks and loads on a phone takes those calls; the rest hear about the storm from customers who already booked someone else.

Questions

Before you ask.

A roof lasts thirty years. How does a website pay for itself between jobs?

Because the roof is not the only thing you sell. Repairs, ridge and flashing work, gutters, moss removal and flat-roof replacements all run on much shorter cycles, and the site earns its keep on those while the full replacements arrive when they arrive.

A lot of our work goes through insurance claims. Can the site explain how that works?

A page on storm and insurance work is worth writing, because the homeowner making a claim has no idea what the process involves. Set out what you provide for the claim, what the insurer usually asks for and where you fit — that is the page they read before ringing anyone.

We only guarantee our own work, not patches on someone else's. Can the site set that out?

Yes, and stating it in writing is safer than explaining it on site. A short guarantee section saying what is covered, for how long, and that it applies to work you carried out settles the question before a quote is issued rather than after a dispute.

Scaffolding makes our quotes look dear next to a ladder job. Can the site handle that?

It can make the case before your price is read. A page explaining when access equipment is required and why a ladder job is not the same job reframes the comparison — a customer who understands what the difference buys stops treating the two quotes as like for like.

People don't know a flat roof from a pitched one. Does the site need to teach them?

Not teach — sort. Splitting the services by roof type lets a visitor recognise their own roof and land on the right page, which also means you rank separately for flat-roof and pitched work instead of competing with yourself on one general page.
